Dancer
Sam Assemany, of South Lyon, MI, studied her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at Western Michigan University. In 2015 she moved to New York City, NY as a freelance artist. Since residing in NY, she’s had the opportunity to work for various artists including NOW Dance Project, Shawn Bible Dance Co., Jolt Dance Project, Loose Kanon Dance, Chris Ralph, and Alma Collective. Sam is currently dancing for BARE Dance Company, Michelle Thompson, and Jaclyn Walsh, and has performed in several New York based shows including Bryant Park Presents: Contemporary Dance, hosted by ITE Dance, and the Mr. Abbott Awards. In 2021, Sam attended Dance Italia on scholarship where she worked closely with artists Sandra Garcia, Stefano De Luca, Milan Kampfer, amongst others, and she performed work by Maya Orchin at the Real Collegio in Lucca, Italy.

Alexis Borth is a dance artist, choreographer and educator based in New York with a continued footprint in Kansas City. She is also a GYROTONIC®/GYROKINESIS®/yoga instructor, previous Charlotte Street Foundation Studio Resident (’22-’24) and Director of KC Open Pro Class.
She holds her BFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from the Conservatory at UMKC. Her career has been stationed in New York, San Francisco and beyond - highlighted credits include: Complexions Contemporary Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, New York Fashion Week, Dance Theatre of San Francisco, and various independent projects and music videos. Alexis’ choreography has been presented/commissioned by Berkeley Ballet Theater, SF Art Institute, Kansas City Ballet, & Charlotte Street’s Making Moves/ProdoLab/Scratch Night/Art Gallery. She has produced upwards of 15 works in the last three years for CSF’s programming and for national organizations and events.
Alexis continues to perform, choreograph, and teach across the country with plans to expand her creative reach internationally.

Beatriz Castro (she/they) is a movement artist from Costa Rica, based in NYC. They have performed for Spark Movement Collective, Faustine Lavie Dance Project, Verbal Animal, and artists including Antonin Rioche, Lauri Stallings, Elisabeth Motley and David Dorfman. They’ve appeared in HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness and the ONxMoMA PS1 campaign. Acting credits include Dimes Square by Matthew Gasda and workshops with Invulnerable Nothings. Beatriz has presented choreography at Abrons Arts Center, Triskelion Arts, and more, and received residencies from Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, MOtiVE Brooklyn, and Pepatián: Bronx Arts ColLABorative to develop new work.

Brandon Coleman is an NYC-based performer, choreographer, and teacher from Katy, TX. He is a former cast member and rehearsal director for Punchdrunk’s SLEEP NO MORE and has worked with companies including Visceral Dance Chicago, KEIGWIN + COMPANY, the Metropolitan Opera ballet, VIM VIGOR Dance Company and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
Brandon has created work for Houston Contemporary Dance Company, HSPVA in Houston, Ormao Dance Company and was featured in 92NY’s 2023 Future Dance Festival. He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a BFA in dance and a BA in Communication with a minor in Arts Administration. @itsbrandoncoleman

Carl Ponce Cubero (they/them/siya) is a first generation Filipinx American movement artist/creative, originally from California’s Central Valley, currently based out of New York City. While studying at University of California, Irvine, they had the honor of dancing under the late Donald McKayle. They have performed domestically and internationally with Ailey II from 2018-2020 and was a guest artist with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in the Spring of 2022. Carl Ponce has danced works by Donald McKayle, Alvin Ailey, Aszure Barton, Jessica Lang, Lar Lubovitch, Andrea Miller, Rena Butler, and Omar Román De Jesus.

Quaba Venza Ernest, a St. Lucian-American from Brooklyn, NY, is an accomplished alumnus of Dance Theatre of Harlem, Fiorello H. LaGuardia Arts High School, and SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance, where he received the Adopt-A-Dancer Scholarship and the Thayer Fellowship in the Arts for Dance and Choreography. He began his career at Ballet BC in 2019 and has since worked with Doug Varone and Dancers, Dual Rivet, the Metropolitan Opera, and Sleep No More NYC. Named an Ann & Weston Hicks Choreography Fellow at Jacob’s Pillow in 2021, Quaba has showcased his work at various local and international festivals and taught at esteemed institutions such as Juilliard, Barnard/Columbia, NYU, Marymount, and SUNY Purchase.

Jacob Glendenning is a movement artist originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He studied at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. Jacob has toured internationally with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company and performed at major events including New York Fashion Week and the Times Square New Year’s Eve Show. His performance experience also spans stage, commercial, and site-specific work, reflecting his versatility and depth as a mover. Most recently, Jacob has taught internationally, offering workshops that emphasize physicality, intention, and personal expression through movement.

Liz Hepp is a Brooklyn-based freelance dance artist and producer. She recently performed in works by PeiJu Chien-Pott, Jessica Ray, Heidi Latsky and Ben Wright, and created the dance theater show "Fact or Fiction" with Trainor Dance for The PIT (2023–2024). From 2017–2020, she danced with Dusan Tynek Dance Theater and Erick Montes’ Danceable Projects, and in 2018 performed in Nick Mauss: Transmissions at The Whitney Museum. Liz has shown her choreography with poet Jean Surena at Art Cake, trained in Madrid with David Zambrano, and studied with the Merce Cunningham Trust. Liz is a producer with CreateART Performance and Remote Daily. She holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.

Thomas Hogan is a queer director, choreographer, and dancer born and raised in New York City. As a performer, Thomas has danced with Annie Rigney, Akira Uchida, Troy Schumacher, and GALLIM under Andrea Miller. He has performed at venues including New York City Center, the Joyce Theater, the 92nd St Y, and Lincoln Center. Thomas is a 2025 ETD New Choreographer Grant Recipient and a National YoungArts Winner in Choreography. His work has been presented at Bryant Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Martha Graham Studio Theater. Thomas is a proud alumni of LaGuardia Arts High School and SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance.

Sarah Housepian, a native of Southern California, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University of Fullerton. Her repertoire includes works by Jose Limón, and she has worked with Mike Esperanza’s BARE Dance Company, Battery Dance Company, Brian Brooks Moving Company, Yin Yue’s YY Dance Company, Erica Essner Performance Co-Op, Indelible Dance, 10 Hairy Legs Projects, NOW Dance Project, Robert Mark Dance, Shawn Bible Dance Co, Gabrielle Lamb, Spark Movement Collective, Rutkay Ozpinar, Dolly Sfeir, Ana Maria Lucaciu, Tsai-Hsi Hung, Christopher Núnez, Damani Pompey, Tadej Brdnik, Colin Conner, and Julia Ehrstrand. Jamie Kleinschnitz is a freelance artist, performer, choreographer, and dance instructor in NYC. Jamie received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Dance from Adelphi University with a minor in Psychology, and studied abroad at the London Contemporary Dance School in the UK. She has danced works by Ohad Naharin, Azure Barton, Alexander Ekman, Paul Taylor, Manuel Vignoulle, Alice Klock, Florian Lochner, William Briscoe, Wesley Ensminger, and Michelle Thompson Ulerich, among others. Abigail Linnemeyer (she/they) is a Brooklyn based performer. She is invested in her improvisation practice and drawn to works that call on partnering, and athleticism. Her queer identity inspires her research into gender in process and community outreach. She is currently working with, m i c c a, Alex Schmidt, Michelle Thompson Ulerich, and Heather Dutton. In recent years, she has worked on projects with Johnnie Cruise Mercer/TheREDprojectNYC, MICHIYAYA Dance, Kinesis Project Dance Theatre, VALLETO, Kayla Farrish, Elizabeth Dishman, Megan Flynn, Mark Dendy, and Grounded Aerial Dance Company. Abigail is eager to continue to pursue her desire to work in environments that center collaborative values and actively work to uplift queer communities.

Caleb Patterson is a dance artist based in New York City. He has performed works by notable choreographers such as Nathan Trice, Rena Butler and Patrick O’Brien at The Joffrey Ballet School. Alongside being seen in HBO’s Random Acts Of Flyness by Domani Pompey, he has performed works by Emily Greenwell, Kayla Farrish, Kanon Sugino, Kar’mel Small, Petra Zanki, Javi Padilla, Dolly Sfeir, Nicole Fuentes, and Jody Oberfelder. Caleb has choreographed his own works, notably at The Visionary in collaboration with Michelle Thompson and Johnny Butler. He has performed in Battery Dance Festival, Judson Church, PAGEANT, Dance Gallery, and others.

Kar’mel Antonyo Wade Small, raised in the South Bronx, began his dance journey with American and International Dancesport Ballroom. He later trained at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and earned a BFA in Dance Performance and Composition from SUNY Purchase. Kar’mel has performed works by Kevin Wynn, Damani Pompey, Kayla Farrish, Martha Graham, Jerome Robbins, Eleo Pomare, and many more notable choreographers and collaborators. Kar’mel toured with A.I.M. by Kyle Abraham from 2022 to 2024, then joined Battery Dance Company in 2025. Kar’mel has been seen on HBO’s Random Acts of Flyness, TELFARTV, and UNIVISION.

Maggie Joy (she/her) is a performing artist, choreographer, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Since graduating from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Maggie has worked most notably for Dual Rivet and cullen+them, originating roles in both stage and film works. She is currently in process with Michelle Thompson, in addition to developing her own work. Maggie is on faculty at Adelphi University and is a 2025 Pride Residency Artist with WADE, expanding upon a collaborative work that premiered in December 2024 at the Jack Theater with support from InQuad programming.

They have performed in works by Adam Barruch, Andrea Miller, Sidra Bell, Michelle Thompson, Verbal Animal, Serena Wolman, Zoe Fyfe, and Taylor Hollingsworth. As a freelance artist, they are drawn to projects that prioritize process, experimentation, and the shared experience between performers and audience. Their practice continues to evolve through both independent work and collective creation in New York’s dance community.
